REGO는 박건우, 박민혁, 박정인, 이범희로 구성된 4인조 밴드이다. 2019년 11월, 누구나 한 번쯤 마주하게 되는 여러 감정들을 담은 EP 앨범 [How About You?]으로 데뷔하며 본격적인 활동을 시작했다. 이후 2021년 9월 두 번째 EP 앨범 [MOMENTS OF US]을 발매했고, 'REGO' 만의 장르를 만들어 가고 있다. 2022년 5월 기타리스트 ‘박정인’이 멤버로 합류하였다.
REGO is a four-piece band consisting of Park Geonwoo, Park Minhyuk, Park Jeongin, and Lee Beomhee. The band made their debut in November 2019 with the EP [How About You?], which features a range of emotions that everyone experiences from time to time. In September 2021, they released their second EP, [MOMENTS OF US]. and have been carving out their own unique genre. In May 2022, guitarist Park Jeongin joined the group.

2019년 11월 EP 'How About You?'와 함께 데뷔한 4인조 밴드 REGO의 싱글이다. 다수의 음악 지원 사업 수상에 힘입어 자라섬 재즈 페스티벌에서 무대를 펼치는 등 성공적으로 경력을 쌓아가고 있는 신인 밴드로, 보컬과 기타를 맡고 있는 박건우의 맑은 음색을 주축으로 서정적인 선율이 두드러지는 기타 팝을 선보이는 팀이다. 'If You'는 싱글 커버아트처럼 검은 하늘 위 흩뿌려진 별빛과 싱그러운 풀밭의 풍경이 펼쳐진 어느 여름날의 밤을 닮은 곡이다. 시각적 심상을 극대화하는 섬세한 기타와 신시사이저 소리, 잔향 짙은 드럼 연주가 부드럽게 일상의 순간에 스며든다. 우울한 순간에 곁을 지키겠다는 곡의 주제 의식은 의례적인 위로와는 거리가 멀다. 일그러진 표정이 가라앉을 때까지, 상처 입은 마음이 아물 때까지, 며칠이고 밤이 새도록 함께 자리를 함께하며 머무르겠다는 경청과 공감의 제스처다. 5분에 달하는 길이에도 차분한 곡 전개와 보컬에 귀를 기울이게 되는 프로듀싱, 곡의 후반부를 책임지는 오아시스(Oasis) 스타일의 기타 연주 등 체계적인 설계 덕에 지루함은 느껴지지 않는다. 감정 없는 격려와 응원 이전에 먼저 이야기를 들어주는 것이 먼저다. A sweet newcomer band that listens to the heart
This single is from the four-member band, REGO, who made their debut in November 2019 with the EP,s How About You? The band has successfully built their career, performing on stages such as the Jarasum Jazz Festival, thanks to winning multiple music support programs and awards. Led by the clear vocals of Park Geon-woo, who also plays the guitar, REGO presents a guitar pop with lyrical melodies at its core. "If You" resembles a starry summer night, much like the single’s cover art, depicting a landscape of fresh grass. Delicate guitar, synthesizer, and resonant drum play that maximize visual imagery gently permeate everyday moments. The theme of the song, a commitment to stay by one's side during melancholic moments, goes beyond conventional comfort. It is a gesture of listening and empathy, promising to stay together until the upset feelings subside, until the wounded heart heals, even if it takes days and nights. Despite its length of over 5 minutes, the well-paced development of the song and attention to vocals, along with the Oasis-style guitar play in the latter part of the song, prevent any sense of monotony.
